BASICS
- TOILETS: The house is on a septic system. Please don’t flush anything other than toilet paper.
- GARAGE: To open the garage door enter the garage through the Dining Room. The switch is on the wall immediately to the left through the door. See image above.
- DRIVEWAY FLOOD LIGHT: Operated via Amazon Echo in the Living Room. “Alexa, turn (on/off) the driveway light.”
- LIVING ROOM LIGHTS (EITHER SIDE OF BAY WINDOW): Operated via Amazon Echo in the Living Room. “Alexa, turn (on/off) the Living Room lights.”
- GARBAGE: The kitchen garbage bin in the cabinet to the left of the microwave in the center island. Please empty garbage and tie bag when full or when checking out and then put the bag in the BLACK GARBAGE BIN under the tree near the base of the driveway. Replacement plastic garbage bags are under the kitchen sink.
- RECYCLING IS MANDATORY: Blue recycle bins are in the garage (accessible through a door in the Dining Room). One bin is for glass/plastic and the other is for paper/cardboard. Please rinse any glass/plastic before putting in the bin. THE TOWN MAY ASSESS A FINE FOR NOT SEPARATING RECYCLING (RENTER RESPONSIBILITY).
- COUNTRY-LIVING! Remember, you are in the woods. Don’t be surprised to see deer, foxes, snakes, mice and more. Crickets and spiders are also plentiful. They are all harmless…so don’t freak out!
- OSVALDO! Our landscaper will be on the property every Friday morning to put the garbage and recycling out. He may ask you to move your car if it is blocking access to the recycling bins in the garage.
